GranteeSpotlight: Jamestown Community Center

For 35 years, the Jamestown Community Center has been providing after-scool and summer progams for children and youth in the Mission District of San Francisco. Today, the Center includes ten full-time and 66 part time staff members who serve more than 500 elementary, middle, and high school youth with educational enrichment, academic support, sports, leadership, employment, and counseling programs.

Throughout the years, the mission of the Jamestown Community Center has remained the same: to mobilize the resources of families, neighborhood residents, and other community members to help young people realize their full potential as empowered and productive members of society.
